Towing in Navan and Ashbourne: what to tell us and what it costs

Navan and Ashbourne are two of the busiest towns in Meath. If your car breaks down in either, this is how a tow with us works.

We are based in Dunshaughlin, between Navan and Ashbourne. Navan sits up the M3 to the north-west, Ashbourne on the N2 to the east, and Ratoath between the two. A tow anywhere in that triangle starts the same way: with a short phone call.

Calling a tow truck in Navan or Ashbourne

  1. You describe the car, the spot it is in and how it stopped.
  2. You name the address it needs to reach.
  3. We work out the price and tell you before anything moves.
  4. The truck comes out, loads the car and takes it where you asked.

What to tell us

  • The town and the road, plus the nearest roundabout, shop or estate name
  • The make, model and registration
  • Whether it starts, rolls and steers, and whether it is in gear or neutral
  • Whether it is on a driveway, in a car park, on the street or off the road
  • The address it is going to, ideally an Eircode

What it costs

Our towing price is a call-out from €150, then €2 a kilometre to the destination. A run across Navan to a local garage is a smaller bill than a trip from Ashbourne into Dublin, and the number is in front of you before you decide. Payment: card over the phone, a texted pay link, or cash.

Drop-off options

Your home, your own garage, a main dealer, a body shop or another address you choose. If the garage will be closed when we get there, say so and we will agree where to leave the car and keys.

When you are waiting

Have the keys ready, and the locking wheel nut key if the car has one. In a multi-storey or a supermarket car park, tell us the level and roughly where the car is parked. Take anything valuable out of the car.

Outside the towns

If you are on a back road between Navan and Trim, or on the N2 north of Ashbourne, give us the townland and anything you can see. Our note on being found on a dark country road has tips.
